HOMOLOGATION AND INSTALLATION

Installation and use- The cable can be cut to the desired length;
- The total power depends on the length of the heating cable and the perceived temperature;
- The cable is secured along the pipe with the relevant fixing tape K50 for steel pipes or K50AL for plastic pipes;
- Minimum bending radius: 25 mm;
- Use a C01A, C03A or L03BM1A type thermostat to disconnect the heating cable when the temperature of the fluid is at the desired temperature, thereby minimising energy consumption;
- The cable heats up along its entire length and can be wound in overlapping spirals as it will limit its power at the overlapping points;
- The two conductors must be kept insulated at the end of the cable using the kit to seal the ends code KIT2A and must never be in contact with each other;
- It is advisable to apply an insulating coating over the heating cable.
- The heating cables automatically vary the heat emission without control thermostats being used;
- They consist of conductors insulated by polymers, which vary their resistance according to the temperature which they are subjected to.
